Coconut shell Chips are produced from cleaned crushed coconut (Cocos nucifera) shells and the rough fibrous surface of them let remain as it is. This substrate for terrariums is an exclusive product by Green Space Terra Crafts which suits exotic pets like tortoises, Iguana, Monitors, Snakes Pythons, and other creatures with dry skin.
The fibrous and rough surface of the Coconut shell chips also helps moss to grow on them in wet terrariums and it gives a soggy appearance and a natural vegetation for the terrarium/vivarium.
Coco shell chips substrate herein comes into the market as 1kg packed in loose form in a polythene bag and the removed particles of these from the terrarium bedding can also be used as a top layer substrate for plants which avoid the growth of weed.
